HRTech firm CompanyMatch opens London office

CompanyMatch, a HRTech scale up from the Netherlands who matches employers and job seekers based on Cultural Fit, has recently opened a London office to service our existing UK clients better and facilitate our growth. CompanyMatch put feet on the ground in the United Kingdom just over two months ago and already times are busy as Bjorn Veenstra, CEO CompanyMatch, explains:

With offices in the Netherlands, our HQ, and Germany already, it was the right time to open a London office”.

Marcel van Eldik, Managing Director UK, joined CompanyMatch in February 2017 to boost our presence in the UK. Having lived and worked in London for close to a decade his experience will add significant value to CompanyMatch’s ambitions to grow our business. With a background in marketing and having recruited and employed many people over the years he has a unique perspective on personal and employer branding and the importance of Cultural Fit in practice.

Tim Herlan, Account Director, moved across from our Dutch headquarters to take up the role of Account Director. Tim has been with CompanyMatch for just over 2 years and was previously responsible for the German market. Tim has also given several keynote speeches and talks about the importance of Cultural Fit and Employer Branding in the recruitment process.

Marcel explains: “The same ‘click’ you have with your one true love, you may well have with your (future) employer. Dating and relationships have much more in common with finding the right employer and company culture then one often realises. The United Kingdom is an extremely valuable market for CompanyMatch and our Cultural Fit match technology. Corporate culture and its relevance in recruitment processes play a crucial role in companies’ sourcing and employer brand strategies.
