What we do
At Wender, around 650 people work. We originated from a collaboration between Het Kopland and Zienn. Each year, we support approximately 2,800 people—both young and old—in Drenthe, Groningen, and Friesland. We offer shelter, assistance with housing, and support at home or at a Wender shelter or housing location. All our colleagues are skilled and dedicated, with their hearts in the right place. Through our core values—passion, craftsmanship, and courage—they commit themselves to everyone who, due to circumstances, cannot manage on their own (for a while).
